Attention
Hardcore Collectors!
You may never see again a near MINT set
of BC-611C radios also knows as SCR-536 when they include the battery
packs.
The BEST part is these matching radios
actually receive and transmit to each
other. They are powered by state of the art electronic PSU's which use
4 D cell batteries to produce the correct voltage necessary to operate
the radios! |
Considering the fact that most single BC-611's
sell anywhere from $250 to $350 a piece and 98 percent are not working
and will never be able to, and are suitable only for display. I feel this
is a rare opportunity for you to have one of the finest working sets available
anywhere
for any price.
|
 |

I do believe that these radios were never used. They are both in such
beautiful condition inside and out! The sponge rubber covering over the
ear piece is still pliable and intact as well as the rubber seal at the
base of the antennae. We did however have to replace the push to talk
rubber as they were a little stiff and are prone to crack with use. Both
freq. cards are in place with the same freq. listed for both radios. The
spec tags and even the fungicide ink stamp are the same on both radios!
The only negative thing I can say about these radios is on one of them
the strap has separated near the bottom. Which could be easily sewin together
or replaced. Personally I would sew it back together. An ORIGINAL TM is
included with same date as the radios. |

ARRIVAL
US
Army World War 2 Radio receiver transmitter BC-1306. Operates in the
range of 3.8 to 6.5 Mhz. AM, CW or MCW modes. Transmitter output power
is 8.5 watts (High Power) on Phone and 25 watts on CW (High Power).
Power for this radio would be supplied by a GN-58 Generator or PE-237
vibrator power unit using approporiate cables.
The
radio is in excellent used condition. The tubes are all present and
the electronics are bright and clean inside. The radio is missing the
transmitter and receiver dial locks and the cover for the neon tuning
indicator bulb, but is otherwise complete. This BC-1306 has been in
clean dry storage for many years. It was hooked up to a GN-58 generator
and a wire antenna for a brief test. The receiver did work and AM Ham
radio stations were heard on 3885 KHz. The transmitter also functioned.
It will requre some lubrication and switch contact cleaning.
